Host Profile Picture
Hi! I’m Mohamed, your host at Saha Stay. I grew up between La Goulette and Carthage, and I’ve always dreamed of opening a space where travelers could feel both welcomed and inspired. I restored this 100-year-old house with love to create a peaceful place for curious minds β€” whether you’re here to explore history, relax by the sea, or work remotely. I’m always happy to share local tips, hidden spots, or just a good chat over mint tea. Welcome to Tunisia β€” I hope you feel at home.

Coliving with us in undefined

Welcome to Saha Stay β€” a soulful guesthouse born in a 100-year-old traditional Tunisian home 🏠✨
We started this project with one mission: to create a warm, authentic space where travelers, creatives, and remote workers can feel truly at home β€” right between two legends: Carthage πŸ› and Sidi Bou Said 🎨.

Located in La Goulette, a vibrant coastal town full of history, cafΓ©s, and salty sea air 🌊, we’re steps away from:
🐟 Fresh fish restaurants
β˜• Local cafΓ©s
πŸš‰ The train to Tunis (15 mins to city center)
πŸ– Beach & port
🎭 Roman ruins, art streets, and postcard views

At Saha Stay, you can:
🌞 Start your day with mint tea in the patio
πŸ’» Work with fast Wi-Fi and fresh breeze
🍽 Cook your own food or try street snacks
🚢 Walk to Carthage or Sidi Bou Said by sunset

Our remote working community

At Saha Stay, community happens naturally. Whether you're staying for a few days or a few weeks, there's always a chance to connect β€” on the patio over tea, during a walk to the beach, or while cooking something delicious in the shared kitchen πŸ²β˜•οΈ

We’ve hosted:
🎨 Artists on inspiration trips
πŸ’» Remote workers building startups
πŸŽ’ Backpackers exploring North Africa
✍️ Writers working on books or blogs

While the house itself is calm and relaxed, we encourage organic connection through:
-A shared WhatsApp group for guests
-Occasional sunset walks, local dinners, or shared shopping runs
-Tips on coworking cafΓ©s and events nearby in Tunis or La Marsa
-Local recommendations for art, music, and chill bars

You're welcome to do your own thing β€” or join others for a spontaneous adventure to Carthage or a beach day in La Marsa 🌊
We're not a party hostel, but we’re also not a silent monastery. It’s the kind of place where people respect each other’s vibe, and great conversations just happen 🌿
