Host Profile Picture
Hi! Iโ€™m Mohamed, your host at Saha Stay. I grew up between La Goulette and Carthage, and Iโ€™ve always dreamed of opening a space where travelers could feel both welcomed and inspired. I restored this 100-year-old house with love to create a peaceful place for curious minds โ€” whether youโ€™re here to explore history, relax by the sea, or work remotely. Iโ€™m always happy to share local tips, hidden spots, or just a good chat over mint tea. Welcome to Tunisia โ€” I hope you feel at home.

Coliving with us in Tunis

Welcome to Saha Stay โ€” a soulful guesthouse born in a 100-year-old traditional Tunisian home ๐Ÿ โœจ
We started this project with one mission: to create a warm, authentic space where travelers, creatives, and remote workers can feel truly at home โ€” right between two legends: Carthage ๐Ÿ› and Sidi Bou Said ๐ŸŽจ.

Located in La Goulette, a vibrant coastal town full of history, cafรฉs, and salty sea air ๐ŸŒŠ, weโ€™re steps away from:
๐ŸŸ Fresh fish restaurants
โ˜• Local cafรฉs
๐Ÿš‰ The train to Tunis (15 mins to city center)
๐Ÿ– Beach & port
๐ŸŽญ Roman ruins, art streets, and postcard views

At Saha Stay, you can:
๐ŸŒž Start your day with mint tea in the patio
๐Ÿ’ป Work with fast Wi-Fi and fresh breeze
๐Ÿฝ Cook your own food or try street snacks
๐Ÿšถ Walk to Carthage or Sidi Bou Said by sunset

Our remote working community

At Saha Stay, community happens naturally. Whether you're staying for a few days or a few weeks, there's always a chance to connect โ€” on the patio over tea, during a walk to the beach, or while cooking something delicious in the shared kitchen ๐Ÿฒโ˜•๏ธ

Weโ€™ve hosted:
๐ŸŽจ Artists on inspiration trips
๐Ÿ’ป Remote workers building startups
๐ŸŽ’ Backpackers exploring North Africa
โœ๏ธ Writers working on books or blogs

While the house itself is calm and relaxed, we encourage organic connection through:
-A shared WhatsApp group for guests
-Occasional sunset walks, local dinners, or shared shopping runs
-Tips on coworking cafรฉs and events nearby in Tunis or La Marsa
-Local recommendations for art, music, and chill bars

You're welcome to do your own thing โ€” or join others for a spontaneous adventure to Carthage or a beach day in La Marsa ๐ŸŒŠ
We're not a party hostel, but weโ€™re also not a silent monastery. Itโ€™s the kind of place where people respect each otherโ€™s vibe, and great conversations just happen ๐ŸŒฟ
