Coliving with us in Tenerife

Inspired by Coliving spaces in Bali, we are offering high-end villas and apartments across the coast of beautiful Tenerife. We have carefully selected an array of villas and apartments to suit everyones needs and budgets. They are all 5 to 10 minute walk from each other and the shared Coworking space that everyone has access to. Enjoy both a thriving community at your doorstep, while still keeping space for much needed privacy.

We have 2 locations in the South Tenerife; Costa San Miguel and soon opening El Medano, both at walking distance from the sea and a thriving local community. Your stay includes a discounted surf lesson and a free yoga class, with the option to purchase further classes at a discounted rate. To make it easier to get to know everyone we do weekly Amarilla meet ups as well as meetups with the larger Digital Nomad and remote community of the island.

Our remote working community

Amarilla is not just Coliving. With a partner Coworking office, we are a Community and we cater to all of our guests needs - from our surf class and exclusive packages, free yoga class, to exclusive discounts on an array of excursions and activities, free meet ups, talk and workshops and everything in between.
We have a Whatsapp group to all stay connected, and are happy to plan and facilitate any activities you come up with. We often organise Community meals, surf trips, walking adventures, game nights, workshops and Coworking sessions.

You can also join or help organise pub crawls, fitness classes, beach volleyball, dolphin boat trips, cooking classes, go fishing, scuba diving, paragliding, meditation sessions, community knowledge & skill share sessions, mastermind meetings, movie nights, climbing trips, a day of golf, weekend adventures, and much, much more.

Our Coworking Space

Whether you're a Digital Nomad, Remote Worker, entrepreneur, e-commerce leader, social media mogul, or anything at all; we understand you need to get your work done. At Amarilla there are plenty of different spaces - both inside and outside - to make sure everyone works in the way that suits them best. Our fibre-optic internet makes sure the Wi-Fi reaches your room, if you need to do private calls or like to work from the comfort of your bed. You can of course also work from our garden by the pool.

Our Coworking office has ergonomic office chairs and 24/7 access for those who need to make early morning calls with the other side of the world, or to just change your scenery every now and then.

The Surf near Tenerife, Spain

The Tenerife surf has a fantastic variety. Reefs, point breaks, and a reliable Atlantic swell create a setting where there's pretty much always a wave for everyone. Within an hour drive from the villas you can reach all the best surf spots of the island. Our favourite is Playa de Las Americas, a 5 to 10 minute drive from our villas.
Although Costa San Miguel is not a surf spot, we are a mere 15 minute drive away.
All our guests get a discounted surf class with our partner surf school who will pick you and can drop you off at the Coliving. If you wish to continue surfing, they will arrange a package at a discount to suit your work schedule and the best waves. We have found many of the guests get hooked on surf once they start and hit the waves before work most days!

Tenerife has 300 days of sun per year and plenty of swell almost all year round. It's one of the best islands to surf in the Canaries with many beginner beaches for a safe and fun time in the water. There is a fair bit of localism in some of the spots though, so be kind, respectful, and follow the surf etiquette.
If you're specifically coming for waves, the best time of year is during the winter months. Between October and February, the north coast of Tenerife receives powerful swells.

Yoga

There's plenty of space for those downward dogs and fish poses, and we're sure you'll find community members who'll want to join you. Yoga classes take places all throughout the week on the beautiful wooden pier in Los Abrigos, and our clients get their first class for free.

Amarilla - Costa San Miguel, Tenerife

Amarilla Golf is a resort all of its own. Within walking distance there are a few bars and restaurants, shops and supermarkets. However, not too many that take the natural beauty of the area. A 10 minute stroll along the coast will bring you to the new marina of Costa San Miguel where there is a large offering of water sports, diving and other water activities at your doorstep. Costa San Miguel beach front isn't a surf spot, so our partner surf school will pick you up and drop you off with their surf shuttle to enjoy the best waves of the island, about a 10 to 15 minute drive away.
The main resort centre Golf del Sur is just a short walk away with lots of bars, restaurants and shops with nightly entertainment in the main square. Golf Del Sur also has an excellent medical centre, Dentist and Pharmacy.

Costa San Miguel offers a perfect location in the South the island for scenic hikes, panoramic views of the lush green golf course, a stunning marina and sea views. The coastal area is perfect to go scuba diving and snorkelling with so many hidden coves and natural pools with beach huts like Montaña Amarilla. Los Abrigos is also a beautiful local fishing village a short walk away, renowned for its natural pools and fresh fish!

What an Amazing experience and incredible events! Couldn’t say enough for how well the team looked after me ❤️ Marina & Kayleigh helped me with anything I needed, from recommended places to visit and transport links to anything I required in the co living property. The events hosted by the team are so diverse to! there really is something for everyone, yoga, beach parties, BBQ get togethers and beautiful trips to mount teidi.
