Coliving with us in Tenerife
From the coworking area with fast WiFi to cozy corners for relaxation, every detail is designed to help you balance work, play, and connection.
Perfectly located near the charming town of La Orotava, just a short drive from restaurants, markets, and local shops. Here, you can enjoy hiking trails, explore the ocean, surf, climb, or simply soak in the amazing sunsets over the island.
A typical day at our coliving might start with a morning surf or hike, followed by work in our coworking space, then a stroll through town or a shared dinner with the community. We love organizing activities like star nights with telescopes, local market visits, yoga sessions, and fun social evenings.
Our vision is to create a sustainable, supportive, and adventurous community that celebrates the culture and beauty of Tenerife. Whether you’re here to focus on your work, meet amazing people, or explore the island, Bencomo Coliving is your home away from home.
Our remote working community
Our guests often end up connecting in the most spontaneous ways — sharing a glass of wine in the evening, going for a walk together, or planning a last-minute road trip to explore the island. Conversations start easily around the kitchen, during coworking hours, or while watching the sunset from the terrace.
We also love hosting small community moments like stargazing nights with our telescope, yoga sessions, and local market visits — but the real magic happens in the little everyday moments that bring people together.
Most of our guests are remote workers, freelancers, and creatives — developers, designers, writers, and entrepreneurs — people who value meaningful connections, nature, and balance between work and life.
We have a friendly WhatsApp group where everyone can stay connected, share ideas, and plan activities. As hosts, we (Ana & Adrián) love being part of the community and making sure everyone feels at home, while keeping the vibe calm, warm, and genuine.
Many guests stay for weeks or even months, and often come back — because once you experience the energy and connection of this place, it’s hard to leave 🌴💻🌅
Our Coworking Space
We have fast and stable WiFi throughout the house, plus a dedicated coworking area equipped with 4 monitors, keyboards, mice, and ergonomic chairs — everything you need for a productive workday. Two of our rooms also have private desks for those who prefer to work in their own space.
The best part? The views. From the house, you can see the entire Orotava Valley and the majestic Teide volcano — a daily reminder of how special this island is. It’s the perfect backdrop for creative thinking and peaceful focus.
The atmosphere during the day is calm and focused, and we keep quiet after 10 PM to respect everyone’s rest. There’s no projector, but plenty of natural light and cozy corners where you can work or take calls.
If you ever want a change of scene, there are several cafés just 2 minutes away by car on the main road, and a full coworking space about 8 minutes away.
The Surf near Tenerife, Spain
The north of Tenerife is one of the best areas for surfing, especially in winter, when the swells are powerful and consistent. The island even hosts major surf competitions, like the Spring Surfest Las Américas Pro and the ETB Bodyboard Contest at Playa El Socorro.
Two of our favorite spots are just a short drive away:
Playa de El Socorro (Los Realejos) — one of the best surf beaches on the island, with consistent waves and a mix of sand and rock bottoms. It’s great for intermediate and advanced surfers, and it often hosts local competitions.
Martiánez (Puerto de la Cruz) — a popular spot for beginners and longboarders, where many of our guests go to take their first surf lessons or simply enjoy the beach atmosphere.
Both beaches are very close — around 10–15 minutes by car from Bencomo Coliving — so you can easily choose the vibe you want each day.
If you’d rather just relax and soak up the surf energy, that’s totally fine too — not everyone surfs, but everyone enjoys the ocean here.
With stunning sunsets, great waves, and a vibrant surf culture, Tenerife’s north coast is an incredible place to work, surf, and connect 🌅🌊💻

I initially planned a 2 week stay here but decided on the first day to extend it into a whole month because the place is absolutely amazing! Ana and Adrian have made the place feel like home. Met amazing people as well. I’ve decided to always stay in co-living for future travels because of this experience and if I ever come back to Tenerife, will stay at Bencomo again ❤️

This was by far my best co-living experience ever! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Ana and Adrián were incredibly attentive and they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They even organized a wonderful program for us, full of thoughtful activities and chances to connect with others. The house itself was stunning — spacious, spotless, and extremely well equipped. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the whole environment had such a positive, inspiring energy that it was hard to leave. We loved it so much that we actually extended our stay twice. The value for money is more than excellent, you truly get so much more than you pay for. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Bencomo Coliving is a unique place with an incredible atmosphere. I felt at ease there and quickly found great people with whom our time together was truly special. This experience will stay with me for a long time 🥰
How to get here
From TFS (Tenerife South Airport): The best option to reach the house is to rent a car, so you can move around the island easily. But if that’s not possible, you can take the bus (guagua) — line 112. From Santa Cruz de Tenerife bus station, you have a few options: Take bus 102, get off at La Quinta, and then take a taxi. Or take bus 108, get off at La Orotava bus station — there’s a taxi rank right there. If you’re coming from TFN (Tenerife North Airport): You can take bus 30 to Cruce de La Matanza, then bus 101 to Cuesta La Villa, and from there either walk up or take a taxi or rental car. Alternatively, take bus 30 to La Quinta, and then grab a taxi from there. Here are some local taxi numbers in case you need them: 🚕 Santa Úrsula: 922 30 00 31 🚕 La Orotava: 922 32 37 37 / 922 37 89 99
