We're excited to launch Rapture Coliving in Costa Rica! Looking for a warm crew in Costa Rica? Want to surf some sweet waves whilst getting your work done? You came to the right spot.
We decided to focus more on hosting remote workers and create a tight community by the surf of playa Avellanas. We love surfing, the ocean and Mother Nature, and we love sharing this passion with you! Over the 15 years of history of Rapture Surfcamps we have taught more than 12.000 people how to surf. Allow us to light the fire within you too!

Our remote working community
It's amazing to see ideas and connections evolve between our guests who stay longer and share wifi and waves. We've seen a lot of remote workers, freelancers and entrepreneurs come through, and understand that you need to get your work done.
There are many fun things to do to connect with the other remote workers in the space. Go for walks on the beach at sunset with a drink at hand, enjoy bonfire nights on the beach weekly, BBQ night at camp on Sundays, beach yoga daily, massages upon request, slack lining in the yard, surf theory class and video analysis of your surfing pictures at camp. We have a WhatsApp group to allow for the community to stay connected, and for plans to come to fruition, and are happy to help facilitate any workshops or activities you come up with.

Our Coworking Space
We provide a blazing fast internet connection of around 200 mbps, so you can be sure to get your work done. Work from a bean bag next to the pool, at the tables in our common area, or from the balcony of your private suite. Our wifi allows for frictionless video-calls and zoom meetings anywhere on the property. Enjoy our lush green gardens for constant inspiration from nature, or jump in our new pool during a quick break to refresh and regain focus.
The Surf near Playa Avellana, Costa Rica
Playa Avellanas – Avellanas Beach, or referred to by locals as “little Hawaii” – is just 10 min walking from our surf camp. Avellanas is a tropical surfers paradise ideal for those who enjoy spots less traveled. This is certainly an untouched oasis, where you can truly experience the “Pura Vida” way of life!
There are eight surf spots that make Playa Avellanas the top surf destination for all levels in Costa Rica, and they’re all within a short distance of our camp.Playa Avellanas offers lefts, rights, reef breaks, beach breaks, solid barrels, and peeling cruisers. Whether you like to ride longboards, foamies, twin fins or short boards - there's a wave for you. All the breaks are totally surfable during the rainy season, however, since it cannot handle a lot of swell you’ll find that the dry season sees more rideable days on average.
We have a large quiver of boards at the camp for all levels. We offer different size soft-tops and custom mals, as well as variety of fibre-glass performance based short boards.

How to get here
Our Camp in Costa Rica is located in Playa Avellanas, Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica In Playa Avellanas we are a 10min walk to the beach through a beautiful mangrove forest where you can observe plenty of wildlife. Our surf camp is right across from Cabinas Las Olas and on your left before you reach the right turn to Lola’s. Take the left turn towards Vida Verde, then you’ll see the signs towards Rapture
