Working Remotely in Huntington Beach

Next to the Pacific Ocean, 56 km southeast of Los Angeles, you find Huntington Beach. Also known by the nickname Surf City, Huntington Beach is defined by sun, sand, and sunshine. With its about 14 km long beautiful beach and excellent surfing, Huntington Beach really epithomizes Californian surf culture.

If you're looking for a place to work remotely and try out the Californian surf dream, Huntington Beach is definitely a great choice. The city has even been named the best city in Orange County to live in. However, be aware that Huntington also ranks among the more expensive places to live in the US.

Surfing in Huntington Beach

Huntington beach is a real wave mecca and probably one of the most iconic surf towns in the world. In the vibrant town center you find everything surf related. And the world famous Huntington Pier delivers consistent waves left to right that local and WSL surf pros can be spotted enjoying.

Apart from the pier you have loads of way less crowded spots both to the north and south, offering sand bar, jetty points, and hollow world-class barrels during the right swell.

Getting There

Located between San Diego and Los Angeles, Huntington Beach has three airports in the surrounding area. All within less than an hours drive. If you're not renting a car, using Uber or any other ridesharing app is a good idea.
