Coliving with us in Azores

Perfectly decorated and with a spectacular ocean view, you can't find a better place to stay when working remotely in the Azores. Not only because of the amazing place in itself, but also because of the hosts. Ania and Charles have that special way of making everyone feel super welcome and like part of the family even though you just met.

To top it off, there's a simple but healthy breakfast included, perfect as a pre-morning surf meal, and not to forget; the beds are super comfy.

Our remote working community

Walk on ancient volcanic trails, meditate on breathtaking cliffs, bathe in natural forest hot springs, and surf exhilarating uncrowded waves.

A problem when working remotely can be that you miss out on the social interactions and activities around the office. Staying at Dwell we invite you to become a part of our community of travelers, creators and dreamers. Connect with and get to know everyone else who's staying here while you remain productive.

We always organize a variety of meetups and activities and you are of course invited to join.

Our Coworking Space

Our workspace consists of a 52m2 open office layout with an amazing panoramic ocean view. In this space, we have plenty of chairs and desk space. If you instead prefer a more chill workday, there are couches, lounge chairs, and even swinging chairs.

We also offer free water, coffee and tea. If needed there is a printer, projector and whiteboard available.

The Surf near Azores, Portugal

With nine volcanic islands surrounded by amazing breaks, the archipelago of the Azores is quite similar to Hawaii. Especially from the fall to spring, the Azores is considered a world-class surf destination. And although the surf of the Azores is becoming more and more well known, it's not rare to find perfectly peeling uncrowded peaks.

The island with the best and most surf spots is São Miguel. This is also considered one of Portugal's most consistent surf regions, and where we are located.

Within a 10 minute drive from Dwell, you reach the intermediate to advanced point break of Rabo de Peixe. Continue another 10 minutes and you get to the beginner to advanced surf spots Santa Barbara and Monteverde. Santa Barbara being one of the most popular spots on the island.

Basically, San Miguel is not a big island, within a 30 min drive you reach most spots on the island. As you can hear, a car is highly recommended and luckily they are very cheap during any time that's not summertime.

If you are a beginner there are also lots of surf schools around, and if you book a lesson some of them will come and pick you up at the door :)

Highly recommend! Dwell is a fantastic place, I stayed for a month and had a wonderful time. The house itself is great, very clean and organised and has everything you could need. The views over the ocean are incredible! But most of all the people, from the hosts Ania and Charlie who are so kind, to all the lovely people I met there, make it very special.
