Coliving with us in Tenerife
Staying with us in at Nine coliving you will be based in a traditional historical Spanish village while having access to the both the ocean and the mountains within a short drive. This is not just a place to sleep and work. It's a place where like-minded people meet each other and form a strong community.
With its many communal spaces the villa offers digital nomads and remote workers all the opportunities to bond, grow, colive and learn together. With daily morning yoga, community lunches, family dinners and lots of opportunities for guests to organise events.
Our remote working community
Tenerife is an island where many digital nomads and remote workers are based. Specially in winter, when the Canarian Islands are the only warm place in Europe. At Nine we are one big family, but we are also pretty involved in the community outside too. We are involved in hosting events and meet ups for digital nomads and invite others to enjoy our yoga classes and Sunday BBQ's all the time. As soon as you arrive you immediately become part of a pretty awesome group of people.
Although not everyone at Nine is a surfer, many of us enjoy it, so there will aways be someone around to get out in the water with.

Our Coworking Space
Staying with us you have many places to get your work done. Our work space is set up fully equipped with office furniture (including two standing desks) for 14 people. The light room with a beautiful view over the town and sea make it a very comfortable space to work form.
But, if you feel like you want a less formal space to work, don't worry. You can work from the living room, the garden, the patio and the roof. If needed, we also have a conference room for meetings and calls.

The Surf near Tenerife, Spain
The surf on the island of Tenerife varies from spot to spot and is of great quality. There are nice sandy beaches for those who want to learn and spots with well-known international quality waves, where the WQS (World Qualifing Series) organizes surfing competitions. The water temperature is mild in winter (maximum 3.2mm wetsuit required) and in the summer you can surf in board shorts or with a short wetsuit.
A ten minute drive from the coliving there are 3 awesome surf spots. With fun and easy waves for beginners and and sometimes some serious waves for advanced surfers.
On the rest of the island there is also plenty of choice to get your surf on. Rent a car and explore the island, or stay local and enjoy Los Patos, Martianez and El Socorro. If you need, rentals, beginner group lessons and coaching for all levels are available.

How to get here
Tenerife has two airports, the South and the North airport. The easiest way to get to Nine is via the North Airport. From the North Airport there is a airport bus (number 30 direction Puerto de la Cruz) to La Orotava. From the busstop Enlace Orotava it is a 15 min walk to Nine. From the North Airport you can also take a taxi. This takes 20 minutes and costs between 30 and 35 euro.
