Hossegor is located in the very Sout-West tip of France, close to Spain. The closest airport to Hossegor is Biarritz (BIQ) Airport which is 24 km away. From there, you can rent a car, take a bus, a shuttle, or a taxi! The house is easy to find from Google Maps, and is only a few minutes walk from the nearest bus station, in case you're arriving by bus.

Hossegor Coliving

We only have one room left available for the summer: From june 2nd till 17th. In the fall we're open from 15th September to mid-October. Then from beg of nov until the end of December.

All rooms are bright, clean, have their own private bathroom, and a desk. The minimum length of stay is 7 nights.

After you've made your booking request, I will reach out to you to collect 40% more for your deposit. The remaining 50% is to be paid upon arrival.

This beautiful six-bedroom contemporary villa is located at literally the best spot in Hossegor. Cross one sand dune for two minutes and you're at the beach.

From the wooden deck of the house, you can not only see the lush olive trees in the garden but also the dunes of the beach. Since the deck surrounds the house, depending on the time of the day, there's always a nice place to sit and soak up some sun. If it's a really sunny day, a dip in the pool during your afternoon break will be nicely refreshing.

Life in Hossegor is spent outside - its nature is beautiful. The place is not too big, so it's easy to get around on foot, by bike or by car. Easily make a fun adventure trip to town, the beautiful forest, lake, or beach in your off-hours. 

Hossegor is the base for Billabong and Ripcurl, and there are countless cafes and shops that you'll want to taste and check out, or work from for an afternoon. Here are some more of our favourite pictures of Hossegor.

Hossegor is the laid back surf capital of France and the 'promised shore' of incredible beach breaks. Within a 20 minute drive, you have more than ten different high-quality surf spots.

Due to an underwater canyon that channels the water towards the coastline, the surf around here is punchier than at other French surf spots. 

The closer to the winter it gets, the gnarlier the wave gets. So if you're a beginner, you should probably consider coming by during the warmer months of the year. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the house, so you can easily get there by foot. 

We're happy to connect you with a local surf school for lessons, surf photography, or to rent a wetsuit and a board when you're here. Group surfs happen organically.

Each private room of the villa contains a small desk so you can get those calls and meetings in without any disturbance. If you want a more social coworking atmosphere, we have a huge beautiful living room with lots of natural light. Get your work done here from the shared coworking table. 

For a more mellow vibe, you can work from one of the plenty of comfy spaces around the house. 

On top of the above, the villa also has lots of different places outside where you can sit and work if you like the fresh air. If you're done for the day, the patio is the perfect spot for cracking open a cold after-surf beer.

Located in a quiet and welcoming residential area of ​​Benesse-Maremne our Surf House / Coliving enjoys exceptional calm.

Close to the house there is a supermarket, a bakery, a sports center with tennis courts, pétanque, pala wall, bowl for skaters and lots of walks in the forest. We are a few minutes drive from Hossegor bourg, close to the bars, shops and restaurants of the Pedebert area. 10 minutes by car from the coolest beaches for surfing and from the city center.

Are you new to the area? Like us, do you love the vibes of the Landes, surfing in Les Estagnots and having a coffee in the Pédebert zone? 

Nothing better than being part of our exceptional surf and yoga community to immerse yourself in the daily life of a "Landais" (no one is really from here but shuuut). Here you will meet nice people from all walks of life: freelancers, long-term travelers or even a few people living in the region all year round. 

We imagined the Alma Libre co-living as the house of happiness, where you feel good, welcomed, where you can work as well as meet people and share good meals. For us, everything that tastes good is homemade.

Hossegor is one of France’s most consistent surf spots and you’ll get a wave here whatever time of year you come. In July and August the waves are small and fun but the main peaks right along the beach will be packed with travelling surfers. When it’s on, you’ll still get a nice punchy wave at La Graviere and Les Culs Nus. You’ve got to be really unlucky though to get no waves during a week’s holiday in Hossegor, even in the height of summer.

May and June are great months for a surf trip to Hossegor. The hectic winter swell and big spring tides have calmed down but there’s still some good push to the waves, the water’s getting warmer and the tourists have yet to arrive. September and October is arguably the best time of year. The water’s still warm enough to surf in boardies, the waves are starting to pick up in size and the hoards of tourist have gone home. This is when the WSL Quik Pro France is held and there’s always a good vibe in town.

From May to September we offer several packages of 3, 5 or 7 nights with full board, surf and yoga lessons, daily shuttle to the beaches.

Our villa is transformed into coliving every winter for a unique and original experience. Enjoy the space of a beautiful South West Surf House from October until April.

Rental possible from the 1st to the 1st of the month in a private room.

Highly consistent, thin crowds and beautiful remote beaches, welcome to Galicia's surf scene. Within an 8-minute drive from the Coliving you get to Praia de Traba, a wild long sandy beach that offers an exposed beach break. Praia da Traba works any time of the year and usually has both left and right waves. A 7-minute drive from the coliving, you also have the more protected Praia de Soesto.

If you instead want to go on a bit of an excursion, 30 minutes in a car, north of the coliving you find Playa de Malpica. Another exposed beach break, that rarely has crowds. Since it's facing a north direction, it's a great compliment to Praia de Traba. If you have even more time, Razo and Nemiña, two of the most popular spots in Galicia are just a 45 min drive away.

For beginners looking to get some lessons, there is a surf school in Laxe, only a 15-minute walk from the coliving.
