The Surf near undefined, undefined

Warm weather and good surf is exactly what we pride ourselves on here in southern Uruguay. Summer is the best time to surf here and surprisingly it’s actually not that busy. You’ll have lots of room to practice your skills and ride some killer waves.
If that doesn't scream paradise then we don’t know what will! La Olla beach is just a few minutes from our Selina coliving and this is where beginners find their groove and learn to surf! It’s the beach to go to if you are new to surfing.
Then there are beaches like Bikini and Montoya which are a little further away from the city. That means fewer swimmers and awesome surfing opportunities. On good days in the summer you can get some really nice swells here! It’s an awesome spot for intermediate to advanced surfers.
Punta del Este really is the dream surf spot with beaches all around for every skill level. The options are really endless when it comes to surfing down on the southern coast of Uruguay and it’s still a bit of a hidden gem – for now!
