Coliving with us in Peniche

33 Hostel is a lovely home in a beautiful building, with a unique family atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Perfectly located in the center of Ferrel, near the beautiful beaches of Almagreira, Pico da Mota and Baleal, it's an ideal place to surf-or just enjoy the sun.
We organise homemade family dinners, pub crawls and group trips to nearby towns and attractions, and are always available to provide assistance and advice to our guests.
Ferrel is a lovely village, full of locals who welcome all the foreigners that pass through with open arms. The nearby city of Peniche is famous for its fantastic beaches, and most of all for being Portugal's "Wave Capital."
Surfers will appreciate that all the best beaches are just a few minutes away, with world-class conditions all year round.

Our remote working community

33 Hostel is all about the community vibe. We have an amazing community and everyone hangs and work together. The place is quiet but doesn't shy away from the occasional party and drinking event.
If you love meeting new people and get new friends the atmosphere at 33 Hostel is the perfect spot for you!
Our hostel is right in the center of Ferrel, just a short walk from the supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy, ATM, bank, post office, medical offices, hairdressers, bars and surf shops. It's also very close to the local church, one of the village's main points of reference, where lots of parties take place all year (especially in spring and summer).

Our Coworking Space

We have many people that come here working remotely, after breakfast the main area transforms into a coworking space! If you need coffe or tea, we got you covered.
The internet speed in the main area is 800mbps and it maintain a similar speed in all other areas of the house, including the private rooms. If you have meetings, video-calls you will have absolutely no problem in our hostel.

The Surf near Peniche, Portugal

Take on the famous 'supertubos' on a big swell, enjoy the white water at Baleal or just investigate some quieter peaks close to the property in Ferrel. All conditions are catered for here. A rental car is useful to get the most out of everything, including day trips to Ericeira or Lisbon but Baleal, Lagide and the local spots are all walkable.

No words to describe how amazing Maura and Paulo and the 33Hostel feel like home ♥️ Not a hostel but a home, they are beyond wonderfull, helping in everyway, giving you amazing tips and make you wanna stay forever. Amazing rooms and common areas, super clean and bright, full furnished! Homemade breakfast, free bikes, little bar and grocery store at low price, tips for surfing with an amazing school, activities... best hostel experience in my entire life, I ll come back and I miss you already ♥️

Our Coliving Accommodation

We have coliving and coworking promotion from the 1st of October until the 30th of May. The minimum stay is one month.
We will be closed in January and February but beside this, come and enjoy some great surfing and coworking in Peniche and Baleal!
