Coliving with us in Coworksurf City
We’ve decided to take Coworksurf to the next level. In the tranquil neighborhood of Ciudad de Jardin in the middle of the cool and buzzing surf mecca Las Palmas, you’ll find the first-ever Coworksurf City. The ultimate Coworksurf experience.
3 amazing coliving houses, booked out for 29 days, just for the Coworksurf community.
As always with Coworksurf you’ll have: amazing community vibes, a productive coworking atmosphere, and waves for days. Only this time it will be even more epic than usual.
We’re talking, extra community, extra surf, and maybe not so much extra work. However, you can be sure there will be lots of room for productivity, as well as some amazing skill shares and masterminds. Sharing experiences, and connecting with all the other CoworksurfCity inhabitants, you’ll be stoked with new friends, ideas, and inspiration.
Our remote working community
Las Palmas is a beautiful city and a popular digital nomad hotspot with lots of fun things going on. Dance nights, beach volleyball, and digital nomad meetups at the San Remo bar are part of the weekly happenings. With the Coworksurf City community on, it's going to be even better.
Got any special thing you want to attend? Just ping a msg in the Coworksurf city Whatsapp group to get a crew going.
Whether it's group sunset surf sessions or group morning surf classes, guided 'off the beaten track' hiking tours to experience the diverse nature of Gran Canaria, skill-share workshops, masterminds, or just your everyday coliving BBQs. There will not be any lack of social activities at Coworksuf City.
Our Coworking Space
Since this is a Coworksurf experience, there will of course be more than enough space for everyone to work in any of the coliving houses. With excellent high-speed wifi in all rooms, shared spaces, and terraces, there will be enough bandwidth to go around for everyone to be working and having video calls.
If you instead prefer to keep your work-life balance a bit separated, no worries. You also have access to a coworking space in the center of Las Palmas.
Just jump on one of the city bikes (only 20 Eur for the whole month) and cruise down the bike lane for a few min until you join up with the rest of the crew at the Coworksurf City coworking space.
Once the workday is over, join up in the blue Atlantic as the daylight turns purple and the sun slowly makes its way down over the mountains.
The Surf near Coworksurf City, Gran Canaria
Talk with any surfer who’s been to Las Palmas about the surf there and they get a grin on their face and start frothing away.
Whether you’ve never even felt the feeling of a wave grabbing a hold of your board, accelerating so fast you’re sure you'll fall off, just to start cruising smoothly until you get worried the board is about to be stranded upon the beach. Or maybe you’re already hitting up Supertubos for dawn patrol just to get some sweet barrels for breakfast. In Gran Canaria and Las Palmas, there are sure to be waves for you.
Basically, the whole north shore of Las Palmas is packed with different surf breaks.
To mention a few spots, you have the world-class wave of El Confital; fast, hollow, and barreling. La Cicer - a spitting a-frame breaking onto a sand bottom, watch out for the tide variations. And the beginner-friendly Las Canteras. With lots of white wash to practice popups and surf schools for beginners who need some pointers, this is the perfect novice surf paradise.
How to get here
Arrive easily from Las Palmas airport by a local bus or taxi.
