Taghazout Morocco

A partner coliving & coworking in vibrant and inspiring Morocco. What will be Nomads Maroc and is currently Adventure Keys.
Taghazout aka Nomads Maroc is in beta mode as the final touches are being made to the new office there. Some construction noise will still be around until complete and accommodation is currently basic as pictured.

Coliving, coworking & surfing in Taghazout Morocco

Taghazout in Morocco is the perfect little spot to escape the European winter with warmth, good vibes, tagines and lets not forget a very healthy dollop of pumping swell. This new purpose built coliving and coworking office will fill you with so much froth you'll need a little bowl to catch all your new found frothiness and then freeze it into froth cream. Surf & work 'til your hearts content in this epic little spot.
Improve your surfing, make amazing  connections & stay productive in our coworking space.

Cowork 'til you drop into your next wave.

The Coworksurf partner location in Taghazout is a coliving project that promises to give you the community and work-life balance you strive for. Snooze to the sound of the Atlantic waves, wake up to beautiful sunrises and surf the web until the swell is looking perfect! Looking for early morning sesh before work with your new buddies? That's possible too. We’re just a stroll away from the beach and can arrange boards, lessons or transport to other spots along the coast as required.

Taghazout is the perfect backdrop for a location independent professional in search of stoke both in and out the water. Let's face it, we want to perform well in all aspects of our lives and yet maintain some sanity. While many other bayside villages offer the view, only Taghazout can offer you a combination of serenity and tranquil Moroccan vibes. A tiny surfers village no high-rise buildings, no ATMs, and no major traffic can only be as great as it sounds. Plus there’s a really nice flow of people through the place so you’ll find it easy to make new friends at this beautiful new coliving & coworking hub, ideal for digital nomads.

Custom built ocean view coworking space with 200Mbps connection

No, we're not a typical surf house with high speed internet! We get you away from the casual holiday atmosphere, so, you can tune out from all the salty distractions, and get some work done. How? We built a spacious coworking office with breathtaking views of Morocco's beautiful Taghazout Bay with an amazing & social coliving house attached. Well, we can't promise that the view won't be a distraction, but at least we managed to get you the proper headspace that you deserve when trying to catch the next big wave of motivation. Don't forget, we have 200 Mbps of solid internet. So, what are you waiting for? Pick up your laptop and surfboard and paddle (or fly to Agadir) over to Morocco for a truly unique digital nomad Taghazout experience.

What's the surf like down here in Morocco?

Many years ago, Taghazout was just a small fishing village that gained a name within the global surf community due to world class waves like Anchor Point and super chilled vibes. The sun shines almost all year round, and the mighty Atlantic ocean unleashes some of her finest swell along the coast. Whether you're just starting or you’re pro, there’s a wave for you. Beginners might find it easier in summer when the waves are super chill, but there’s always whitewater to learn in at any time of the year and experienced surfers enjoy the more challenging  winter conditions when some of the other epic spots light up along the coast.

Apart from coliving, coworking and surfing what else can I do in the area?

Yoga class
Stand up paddle board sesh
Workout in our panoramic open-air gym
Beach run
Bike & Scooter rentals
Horse-riding & Camel Rides
Quad Bikes and Jet-Ski Rides
Paradise Valley trail hiking
Local cooking classes

Dolphin spotting
Mangrove kayaking
Massage
Spa session
Hot tub chill
TENNIS
GOLF
Beach bonfire
Local Boat Fishing
The water is also solar powered so sometimes there is not always hot water available.

Currently, Taghazout has no ATMs. The nearest ATMs are in Aourir also known as Banan Village. You will also find plenty of ATMs and Money Changers in City of Agadir, where you can easily withdraw minimum of Dirhams 300 or Dirhams 500 depending on the ATM you use. You can withdraw from most ATMs if you have standard debit/credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, etc. Normally, we pass through Agadir as well Banan Village on the way to Taghazout, so if you come with no local currency, we can stop by for you to withdraw some money.
Credit cards are generally not accepted as a form of payment by most businesses in Taghazout, but if they do, there is normally a surcharge of 3-5% from the bank, so its advisable to either bring your local currency and exchange before you get to Taghazout, or stop by at ATMs in the neighbouring town.

The town: Taghazout has many restaurants, surf shops, surfboard repair places, a pharmacy, a Laundromat, a butcher’s, various little mini-markets, and once a week a traditional market. There is also wireless access at some of the cafes and a bus
to Agadir every half hour from 10am-8pm for only 8 Dirhams.

Drinks
Taghazout is a dry village, meaning that it does not sell alcohol. Our Surf House too is not permitted to sell alcohol. You can, however, buy alcohol at various places in Agadir and bring it to our hostel. It is not, however, allowed on the streets and you’re encouraged
to be sensible about the amount you consume so as to not offend the locals in this tiny Muslim village. In most cases, we advise you to bring something from home or Duty Free, to get you through the first couple of days. In most cases, we encourage you to not drink too much, especially if you're keen to surf good.
Please remember, if you are hungover or drunk, our Surf Coach reserves the right to refuse your surf lesson for the day - this is purely for your safety.
