Coworkearth

Coworkearth is an exploration of ourselves. An acceptance and gratitude of what already is, combined with a collaborative set of discussions and kindness centred actions to promote what can be. It's a community approach to how we can best serve ourselves, each other and the planet in a conscious and connected way.

It feels necessary to start this because at the beating heart and essence of Coworksurf is a community that is influential, travels a lot and is at the leading edge of remote work. Remote work is only set to explode in the coming years so it's vital we understand the impact we are having as individuals. Now, whilst travel is now doubt an incredible thing with so many benefits it also has some unwanted effects, and the rates at which this trend is increasing, and how much we factor into that trend is incredibly worrying.

Travel (especially air travel) places a large burden on the planet and it shows no signs of slowing down as hypermobility becomes an expectation that we both enjoy and in many ways are promoting to others.

The quest then is to first understand what kind of burdens our own behaviours, and those we are inadvertently encouraging are having on the planet, how we can become aware of them and secondly how can we adapt our behaviors to lessen the impact.
